Introduction:
I am a java backend developer with extensive knowledge on REST API development using spring boot ( spring framework). I have worked on multiple impactful projects throughout my career for various clients. I have intermediate knowledge in DevOps domain including infra management and ci/cd pipeline building. I have scripting experience with Python.
In today's growing market we cannot stick to a single programming language or framework for longer duration as technology is evolving and most of the infrastructure are based on cloud these days, and when we talk about cloud we want to deploy fast, scalable and less resource hungry applications, Go is a programming language which is doing pretty well in that area.
Hence this decision to learn Go as my 2nd programming language which I will go in depth.
In this blog I will keep on updating what I am doing on daily basis and what I am learning.
This learning journey will not be a typical tutorial based learning, it will be more of a hands on learning by comparing go with java, I will create an outline what I am going to learn.
